Released October 2, 2006 BKM TOTAL OFFICE OF TEXAS PURSUES THE MID-MARKET BKM Total Office says it has moved aggressively into the mid-sized office furniture market.
BKM Total Office of Texas, a Dallas-based provider of corporate office furniture both online and offline, said Monday it has moved aggressively into the mid-sized office furniture market.
Carlene Wilson, BKM's Vice President of Sales and Marketing, was recently elected as the first woman on the board of directors at WorkPlace Furnishings (WPF). WPF is an furniture dealer organization, focused on serving small to medium sized companies. This demographic represents one of the fastest growing segments of the office furniture market, and requires a different level of service.
In order to better serve this customer group, BKM has renovated its WPF showroom near Love Field in Dallas. Carlene explains, "Of course we take advantage of catalogs and brochures, but nothing is more compelling than seeing the product displayed. Our showroom is an incredible marketing tool -- it represents a carefully selected portfolio of exceptional products geared specifically toward small to medium size customers."
Carlene says her philosophy is to stay ahead of this accelerating demographic by offering her customers the relevant products and services. She plans to take full advantage of her new leadership role. "WPF understands this market segment and is filled with high caliber, progressive people. They reflect our own high standards and that is why we are associated with them--our customers expect nothing less."
