December 15, 2006   The HON Company Wins Millenium Award   The HON Company won a silver award from the winter 2006 Millennium Awards Competition for their promotional video presentation entitled "HON for Learning". The award was given at the Millennium Awards, which honor excellence in video, film and other communication mediums. This year over 2,400 entries were received with only the top 7% recognized. Entries are submitted annually and judged on a point system by award-winning, highly qualified professionals in the communications industry. The HON Company's video was created by their media production partner, Silver Oaks Communications in Moline, Illinois.  Working together, they developed a creative concept and complete production of the five-minute presentation promoting their furniture line for educational institutions. "We're delighted to see this type of recognition," said Steve Weller, Director of Marketing Services for The HON Company.  "It underscores the great work being done by both Silver Oaks and our company."
