Alexandria, VA - The Office Furniture Dealers Alliance (OFDA) presented Global Industries, Inc with its prestigious Manufacturer of the Year Award recently at the 2007 NeoCon World’s Trade Fair.
“OFDA is delighted that Global Industries, a strong supporter of OFDA and office furniture dealers throughout the country, has earned this special recognition for its strong execution in the ten performance measurements identified as most important by the hundreds of dealers who participated in this year’s survey,” said Bob Kelly, OFDA Chairman and President of Office Environments of New England, Boston, MA. “As the winner of OFDA’s most prestigious award, they join other prominent, respected industry manufacturers who have received this award in prior years,” he added.
The award is based on an anonymous dealer survey, the OFDA Dealer Manufacturer Satisfaction Index survey, which is sent out every spring. Its purpose is to improve dealer-manufacturer relations. The survey results highlight those areas of manufacturer performance that are of highest concern to a diverse cross-section of dealers throughout North America, as well as recognizing those manufacturers that most consistently and effectively support dealers in those areas.
OFDA is also pleased to present its 2007 Dealer Choice Awards to manufacturers that have excelled in specific business performance categories. This year’s recipients of these awards include:
