All Makes Office Equipment Company Granted
"Top Honors for Top Trucks" in National Commercial Carrier Journal

Creative Design Earns All Makes Second Place Award in This Year’s NPTC/CCJ Commercial Fleet Graphics Competition

OMAHA, NE – July 29, 2008 — All Makes Office Equipment Co, a 90-year-old family owned business received second place recognition for its highly creative fleet graphics through the National Private Truck Council and the Commercial Carrier Journal.  Entries are judged based on their contribution to vehicle graphic design excellence, which enhances the trucking industry, its public image and the impression of the operator.

“We’ve wanted to enhance the image of our delivery trucks for some time,” Jeff Kavich, All Makes Office Equipment Co., President/CEO said, “and our creative imaging on our trucks has proven to be effective.”

Collaboration with Clark Creative, the company’s advertising agency, allowed the group to create a humorous visual that stimulated a positive response.  “This unique and interesting opportunity allowed us to think outside the box and develop something unusual and unique,” Nicole Bormann, Art Director for Clark Creative said.  “The images were shot on the All Makes showroom floor, we had fun seeing the finished concept applied on such a large scale,” Bormann added.

Third place went to Kraft Foods for their Chips Ahoy! truck graphic.  Bridgestone Firestone North American Tire, Swiss Valley Farms and Wal-Mart Transportation all received honorable mention in the annual competition.

A study by Signature Graphics, Inc. found that local delivery trucks generate up to 16 million visual impressions annually.  Of those surveyed 91% said they noticed the words and pictures displayed on vehicles and 75% said they developed an impression about the company based on the fleet graphics.

The American Trucking Association has found that vehicle identification has the lowest cost-per-thousand impressions ratio of any form of media.  This proves that an effective and meaningful fleet graphic will likely help build brand recognition and increase awareness for existing products and services.
