Scott Rice Named in 2009 Thirty Best Places to Work in Oklahoma

Oklahoma City, Okla. – OKCBiz announced today that thirty Oklahoma companies were selected as top finalists for the 2009 Best Places to Work in Oklahoma program. This annual initiative identifies and honors Oklahoma’s best employers.

OKCBiz Associate Publisher Jeffri-Lynn Dyer said, “The Best Places to Work competition motivates local companies to strive for workplace excellence and recognizes those that have achieved it.”

Best Companies Group collected data from the entrants and performed employee surveys to determine which companies had the best practices, ranking them accordingly. Each participating company also receives an in-depth analysis of the data.

OKCBiz will announce the rankings of the Best Places to Work finalists at its annual awards dinner on May 14th at the National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum and in its Best Places to Work magazine publishing inside the June issue of OKCBiz.

This year’s program is sponsored by Nextep, a human resources outsourcing firm in Norman that was the 2006 and 2007 winner of Best Places to Work in Oklahoma. Best Companies Group and OKCBiz have also partnered with the State Chamber, the Greater Oklahoma City Chamber, the Oklahoma Center for Nonprofits, the Oklahoma State Council for HR Management and the Oklahoma Department of Commerce to promote the annual program.
