Started in 1963, WorkPlace Furnishings, Inc. is the association of leading office furniture dealerships in North America. The organization is made up of approximately 85% aligned dealerships. We help our members acquire new customers, stop competing on price, and protect their largest accounts. Many of the most successful dealerships in the industry are members of WPF. These industry leading dealerships benefit from membership through improved business processes, more control of the sales process, and sales growth.

WPF sets out to develop programs to help dealer members improve their business practices no matter what the economic climate. Initiatives available to members help them capture business, accelerate growth, and differentiate them from their competition. Some of these initiatives include:

New business development. Helping dealers find and track new business is a key component of our value proposition to members
Finding and retaining quality employees. The right people make all the difference in your business. The process of finding great employees is time consuming and costly. WPF has developed a program that considerably reduces the time and cost of finding the right people for your company. We also have available tools to help improve the skill sets of and retain good people.
Compensation program management. Most companies deal with multiple compensation programs for their people. WPF offers a program to help you manage and monitor those programs so that you and your employees know what they can expect from their comp program at all times.

WPF understands that in today's competitive market we must change how customers view us. We need to transition from being good manufacturers and service suppliers into being a valued business resource. Accordingly, WPF is determined to be just that to our members. WPF has added new and compelling programs to help build revenue, add profits, and improve upon business practices which will enable our dealer members to better compete in the markets they serve. Some of these programs include new business development methods and training, healthcare solutions, revenue producing services, private label casegoods and systems and more. In addition we bring a whole portfolio of business professionals in different disciplines to help with various business issues. If you're interested in sales training, strategic planning, conducting leadership assessments, performing operational audits, etc. our business resource center contains sources that have been tested by our dealers and have the stamp of approval that they provide value to our members.
